Thursday College Football Pick: Week 7

Welcome back! I will be posting the full list of weekend picks for 10/17 by Saturday morning. However, I wanted to send out a rare midweek play asap. While Wednesday and Thursday games can be a mixed bag schedule-wise, there's a potential shoot out tonight in San Marcos that should be a fun one.

Colorado State at Texas State: Over 69.5 (8pm ET) Tonight we get two of the fastest paced offenses in the country, neither of whom has played since October 3rd. Colorado State is awful defensively. They have given up 156 points in their last three games. That is not a typo. Meanwhile, Texas State has given up fewer than 35 points only once this season, and that was to the Incarnate Word Cardinals. This is a big total, but for good reason. If you'd rather look at team totals, expect Texas State to go over as well. I like their alt team total at 41.5, as I think they should find the endzone consistently.
